SORRY-THIS SERVICE HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR THE
TIME BEING
This service uses exactly the same equipment and professional Audio Restoration
Software as the standard high quality specialised Audio Restoration service.
The difference is in the level of restoration.
There will always be an substantial improvement compared to a straight transfer
of the Vinyl Records or Cassette Tapes - but it will depend entirely upon the
condition of the source material.
It is aimed at providing an excellent overall sound from Vinyl and Cassettes
whilst reducing the more distracting sounds produced by the media. - so you hear
more of the music and less of the noise!!!
Still, a very good value for money service but if you need to archive your
precious Vinyl and Cassettes at the very best possible audio quality, then the
standard specialised Service is recommended

Audio Samples - Vinyl and Cassette
These Before/After Vinyl samples give an idea of what the low cost service
offers.
This mono Jazz track, taken from an LP, can probably now justify the "mint"
description it was given by the seller, after having some audio restoration.
To bring it to a higher standard would require the full restoration offered by
the standard specialised service.
This combined Before and After clip of Tape Hiss illustrates how a
reasonable recording on a decent Cassette Tape can sound with only hiss removal.
Only a small percentage of Tapes, nowadays, have just simple hiss problems. If
yours is one - then full audio restoration won't be necessary.
The sample clip is taken from a restored Vinyl track and recorded onto a 30+
year old TDK AD-60 tape to give a fair representation.
The track changes to the de-hissed version after about 36 seconds.
