We transfer and convert Vinyl LP, EP and 45 records to CD quality using specialised Audio Restoration techniques.
We use the same Audio Restoration techniques to transfer Cassette Tapes and convert them to CD quality.
We transfer, convert and restore Shellac 78 records to the highest possible standard with specialised Audio Restoration techniques.
After digital Audio Restoration the finished CD can be supplied in any format of your choice. Whether you have an iPod, iRiver, Creative Zen or any other player the finished Cassette or Vinyl Transfer can be in MP3, Flac, Musepack, Monkeys Audio, Ogg Vorbis, WMA, AIFF, Nero Digital/AAC, Wavepak, ALAC or Wave instead of normal Redbook Audio standard - but only one format.
Analog to Digital transfers can be made of any Genre of Music or spoken word, it makes no difference.
Please be aware that tracks supplied in any of the "lossy" formats cannot be recovered to a higher quality - by me or anybody else. The only way, would be to do a full transfer and restoration.

Unfortunately, all those Audio Cassette tapes and Records that you stored away are quietly degrading and are certainly in a worse condition than when you first stored them - which doesn't mean that they are only fit for the trash, it just means that you should be considering preserving them as soon as possible - one thing for sure, they won't improve with age!!

Can the Audio Sound Restoration of Records and Cassette Tapes produce results matching CD quality?
Some commercial re-issues on CD have been taken from Vinyl or even Cassette - so Yes!!!
Why not spend a few minutes on the "Samples" pages and hear what can be achieved?

Can it be done cheaper?
It certainly can - but not to this level of quality.
The service is designed to provide the optimum audio restoration of your media and there is no "quick fix", I'm afraid - why settle for less?

Just a note to say that I’ve now had chance to listen properly to the remaining two CD’s and I am very happy with the results. I know you don’t post testimonials on your site but I will certainly recommend your services to anyone who needs audio restoration work done. Your knowledge of the subject matter is certainly re-assuring and gives confidence that the best quality product will result from your work. I would not have believed it possible to completely remove all the noise and crackles etc. and still preserve all the musical content but you have certainly managed that for me!

If those golden oldies were worth storing and keeping - why not have them cleaned up restored and transferred to CD?
Audio Restoration can produce some quite amazing and surprising results, when applied to analog audio formats and depending upon the source material it is possible to capture and retain much of that distinct analog sound.

Why use OLDIES made GOODIES to convert and transfer your LPs', 45s', 78s' and Cassettes to CD?
There are of course many other people out there providing similar Services, but at this price point and quality I'm confident that OLDIES made GOODIES is very, very competitive.

But - I would say that!!!

So, have a look and listen there's lots of sites out there with "before" and "after" samples to make a comparison with - I do regularly.
